Let them eat cake . . .

Thanks to The Hidden Pantry you can now make a portion controlled cake in just one minute!!  I came across this on Pinterest, of course, and just had to make it ASAP.  All you have to do is mix together one box of Angel Food Cake mix and a mix of any other kind of cake mix (but one of them HAS to be angel food cake)...

...and keep the mixture in an air-tight container for storage.
I chose Chocolate Fudge cake mix for my 2nd mix.

In a coffee mug mix 3 tablespoons of the cake mixture...

...2 tablespoons of water...

...mix & microwave for 1 minute.

Results: a spongy "cake".

To me it tasted like chocolate frosted angel food cake.  The angel food cake is definitely the prominent taste, but I'm still going to mess around with it some mroe to see if I can make it more "cake-y".
