I'M DONE. . .

I just have to quickly post that not only did it take me over two hours to complete my final exam for Auditing, but I rocked a B on it!!!!  That is before the prof evaluates them.  If there are any questions (which there always are) that all of us in class miss, she gives us all credit for them.  I usually get 4-6 extra points from this, so that'll bump me up - still probably in the B range, though.

I'm soooooooo relieved, proud, exhausted, and in disbelief.

Do you realize what this means?!

I'm done.  I'm DONE with college!!!!  I am done with classes.  In May I will go up to Storm Lake and receive my lovely diploma for my BA in Accounting.  Wow.  I honestly can't believe it - it seems surreal.  Only 8 years in the making.

If you don't mind, I'm going to go lay on the couch now.

Because, come this weekend, this woman means business.  I need to kick the exercising into gear as well as the cleaning!!!!  So much to do!!!

Ok, quick story.

All of our tests have been 50 questions, each worth 2 points, for a total of 100 points.  The prof explained that the final would be the same way.  So, after 2+ hours, I get to #50.  Instead of the "submit" button, there's a "next" button.  I click it.  THERE'S A #51!!!!  What?!  At this point I only had about 17 minutes left and I no longer knew how many questions to even expect.  I was freaking out.  For all I knew there could be another 50 questions and I was screwed!!  Well, luckily there were only 52 questions, so my heart attack was only short-lived.  After #52, though, I had to hit submit.  As soon as I did, my head hit the desk.  Literally.  I couldn't bare to look at my screen, for I knew that due to the beauty of technology I was going to see my grade instantaneously on the screen before me.  I couldn't look.  I started  texting my mom and Ana (a classmate and friend of mine) that I was done.  Ana was urging me to look because she wanted to know.  I couldn't, though.

See?  I'm not even exaggerating.  I couldn't do it.  But, I rationed with myself, regardless of what grade was glaring back at me from that screen, I was done.  I had already done the calculations and knew I needed to get 50% or higher to get a B in the class.  I also knew that if I didn't even take the final, I would get a C in the class.  So really, I was safe, except my pride.  What did I see when I looked up?

I'll take it!!!!

Goodnight, all.  I'm off to the couch!!
