Well...this is the first week I feel like all I've done is complain.
I can handle the growing belly...
I can handle the jabs to the ribs and bladder...
I can handle the bathroom visits which are merely minutes apart, it feels...
I can handle the numb and swollen fingers which don't allow me to wear my wedding ring anymore...
What I'm having a very difficult time handling...?
These bad boys. My feet, ankles, and even calves are ginormous!!
As if that's not enough, they HURT!! I knew swelling came with pregnancy,
yet no one warned me about the constant pain that came with it.
It hurts to bend my toes...
It hurts to have my feet flat on the floor while I sit at my desk...
It hurts to wear shoes - even flip flops!!
I walk around work barefoot all day...but that doesn't really offer relief, either.
Like I said...this swelling has done nothing but make me complain.
I'm aware...
I'm aware that I'm whining like a big baby.
I'm aware it will go away in a couple weeks.
I'm aware that it is all worth it.
I just want to have the right to complain about it for the next 7 weeks...ok?!
Ok.
Thanks.
:)
33 weeks
Baby:
• is the size of a pineapple.
• has passed the 17 inch mark and will probably grow a whole inch this week alone!
• keeps his eyes open while awake.
Momma:
• is wanting to cut off her feet...but you know that already.
• is up 24lbs as of her appointment the 15th.
• sees the doctor again November 2nd.
• is still wearing her pre-pregnancy belly button ring!!
[I ordered a maternity one but haven't had to put it in yet!]

you do have the right to complain! Its perfectly ok to let it out, dont feel bad about it. Yes its worth it but dont let people sugar coat it, it sucks. You should read jenny mccarthys book belly laughs. Its hilarious but it so honest make you feel a little better
yikes, keep your feet up as much as posible and drink lots of water..tell yoor dr when you go as if they wouldn't notice ;-(
