Does anyone else looooove iGoogle...?
No...?
Just me?
No way.
I use iGoogle as my homepage.
It keeps me organized...on the personal front. I don't use it for anything "important" like work or social calendar (as if I have one).
I have a calendar on there basically to remind me of upcoming birthdays (mostly for the few people that aren't on FB or don't have their bday on FB to help me remember) and special events.
I also have my Gmail on there for quick and easy access.
I have a few Allrecipes gadgets which offers me daily recipes to browse if I so wish.
Oh and let's not forget the chat functionality included in iGoogle. I love that!!
But...the most important gadget of all, I do believe...?
Google Reader
I follow several (46, but who's counting? Oh, and a lot of them have dropped off the face of the earth *cough*Shannon, Kenz, etc.*cough*
Soooo...the reason for this post...?
iGoogle is leaving us all.
Yes, we still have another year an come odd days with it, but the fact that it's leaving has me wondering what I'm going to do for my new homepage.
I love having the Gmail and Google Reader gadgets readily at my fingertips without having to actually go to those websites separately (how lazy have we gotten with all this technology catering to us?!).
So, I'm asking you all...what do you use to keep up with your blog subscriptions?
After a quick browse I came across Netvibes.com but haven't looked into it much.
Anyone even heard of that...?
Well, please...show me some love. How will I keep up with my blogs when iGoogle is gone?
(Let's also just pretend that by that time I won't have a 1 yr old to keep up with as well....mmmmk?)
;)
