I suck. Last week and this week my "bump" pic has been taken at work on Saturday. haha
Hmmm...What have I accomplished this week?
I finally wrote out the Thank You's for the Baby Shower gifts.
Now I just need to get stamps this week to get them in the mail.

Baby steps. haha
Put furniture in it's final location in the nursery. Now I just need to get some Dreft tomorrow after our OB appointment so I can wash up the blankets and bedding and get the crib made up.
I know I still have ~8 weeks ... but I have to keep myself busy and I have this crazy obsession and impulse to get things ready.
No, it's not nesting...my house is still a mess...I just feel the need to get a little something baby-related done each day.
I decided yesterday that I want to try to keep the bassinet in the living room for day time napping/use instead of in our bedroom. We have a very old house and though it's large, each bedroom itself isn't so large. The thought of fitting the bassinet and the rocker (for midnight feedings) doesn't seem possible with our already large dresser and king size bed. I know it could be doable with a lot of rearranging and moving things into other rooms...but I think since our bedroom shares a wall with the nursery, we should be fine to just start BBB out in his own crib from the get go. We'll see. The bassinet isn't out of reach if after a week night or two we decide it'd be better if he were with us.
We still have lots of little things to buy: waterproof pads for crib, lamp, window treatments (though, Aunt Kenz may be making some...?), some storage items for nursery as well as hallway closet, more diapers, diaper pail, baby monitor, bath towels, Dreft, ... I think that's it.
Other than that,...the main things that I would really like to get done in the next two months are a couple craft ideas for his wall, the armoire-made-changing-station (just need the changing pad and some storage units for the drawers), and the bassinet mattress & bedding.
It really isn't that much for two months to go...I just feel like I need to keep doing a little something to keep occupied.
It feels like this pregnancy has lasted forever, but at the same time, I can't believe I'll soon be 32 weeks.

If you want to pick out some fabric hun send it my way and I'll make them for you! But do some price comparing because it could depend a lot on if you want heavy curtains (for warmth) or not so heavy/thinner ones!
The swelling for me was crazy towards the end. My feet looked like potatoes haha
