Photo Dump Friday [05.10]

I've come to realize that I take tons of pictures on my phone. It's so much handier [read: quicker] to pull out the cell phone which is never more than a room away...rather than find the camera, turn it on, etc. Often times, with a 6 month old, the moment is then lost. I post many of these on Instagram [jennajoybeck if you want to follow me], but thought I'd start doing a Photo Dump Friday!!

05.09.13 ~ I am amazed at how well my phone captured the beauty of this tulip after the rain.

05.08.13 ~ Lincoln fell asleep on my shoulder while I was trying to burp him. Isn't he precious? Maybe I'm biased...

05.08.13 ~ I finally bought a new vacuum since our 9 year old one gave out on us. I splurged on a $40 one from Walmart. Hey, we only have one room with carpet! I'm not spending $100+ to clean one room!

Most mornings Lincoln wakes up about the same time as I do [6:30am], so I turn on his lamp and give him this monkey blanket to play with. He's hiding [aka trying to eat it].

05.09.13 ~ Lincoln got up on his knees and started rocking back and forth. I suppose we better start the real baby proofing, huh?! Won't be long now!

05.06.13 ~ Your guess is as good as mine how he got stuck under the pack 'n play!

05.07.13 ~ It was such a beautiful day so we took him to the park  to swing. This is his first time with toes in the sand.

05.06.13 ~ We tried avocado. Lincoln wasn't impressed. He wanted his nana. He didn't mind if I snuck a couple pieces of avocado in with his nana, though. Sneaky Momma!

05.06.13 ~ We're starting the tripod version of sitting up like a big boy! He's pretty proud of himself. He loooooves it when I clap and say "Yay!"

05.07.13 ~ Lincoln fell asleep on the walk home from the park. It was too nice to go inside, so I let him continue his nap in the yard while I listened to Pandora.

05.07.13 ~ He'd much rather be swinging on his own!

05.06.13 ~ "I'm not impressed with this green stuff, Momma. I never see you eat green stuff...so why do I have to?!"

05.05.13 ~ My first attempt at homemade bread. Heck, my first experience with yeast. I have to say, it's a lot easier than I always made it out to be!

05.05.13 ~ We had a major case of the grumps. The only way I could get him to stop groaning was to sing to him. I ran out of songs, so I enlisted YouTube on the iPad...my fave: "Just Give Me A Reason."
